Client-Connected Projects MVA
Client-connected projects allow students to understand authentic workplace problems. They interact with professionals from industry, not-for-profit, or community-based organizations to solve a problem or address a real employer need.
These experiences might include learning methods and tools used in the work environment, mentoring and evaluation, and engaging in at least 24 hours of project work. Many client-connected projects are course embedded, and the student’s performance is evaluated by the client partner as well as their teacher.

EDGE
EDGE is a globally focused microschool for high school students focused on Empowering Discovery of the Global Experience. Students participate in project-based learning and client-connected projects rooted in humanitarian causes. Real world problems are the center of learning, and rather than subjects being divided by class periods, learning is woven together to show the connections across discplines.
EDGE learning is student-driven, with each student taking responsibility for setting goals, choosing and designing projects, planning their day, and choosing how to show evidence of learning. Highly qualified teachers provide expertise and accountability to guide learning and keep students on track.

With a student’s FLEX class, the ENCORE Academy course, and a core class built into hours 6–8, students step into an environment designed to fuel creativity and growth. From performances and technical skills to digital storytelling and media creation, students build confidence, sharpen creative and technical skills, and elevate their art forms.
