Before documenting an experience in SchooLinks, students should complete and submit the Entrepreneurial Experience Pre-approval Form. The pre-approval process helps confirm that the experience meets MVA requirements and allows the appropriate staff members to support the student and verify their work.
To document your Entrepreneurial Experience in SchooLinks, be ready to:
- Upload your final presentation or artifact from the project.
- Upload supporting evidence of MVA completion, as applicable.
- Complete your LPS Graduate Profile reflection by thinking about how this Entrepreneurial Experience helped you grow. Choose at least two areas of the LPS Graduate Profile and write at least one paragraph about each to submit via SchooLinks. Tip: Don't just tell us what you did. Explain what you learned about yourself and how your skills developed because of the experience. For each area:
- Explain how you grew through the experience.
- Include specific examples from your project.
- Describe skills or traits you developed or strengthened.
- Submit your MVA documentation in SchooLinks by logging into SchooLinks and navigating to the Entrepreneurial Experience - MVA Experience Tracker from your dashboard or by following steps 7 and 8 on this SchooLinks guide. Note that this Experience Tracker will only be visible to students enrolled in a course completing an Entrepreneurial Experience or students who have completed the pre-approval form. Enter all required information and submit.
Once you submit, your evidence and reflection will be routed to your teacher or the appropriate staff member for verification. Once your MVA is approved, you will receive an Entrepreneurial Experience Digital Badge in your SchooLinks profile and credential wallet. Congratulations on completing this real world learning experience and capturing your learning!
