High school students at LPS explore paths to college or career through a range of real world learning experiences. Market Value Assets (MVA) are robust real world learning experiences that prepare students for future learning and employment. These experiences are valued in college or work environments, and they set our graduates apart to support a more seamless transition to life after high school. Students who leave high school with a diploma and an MVA are more likely to enroll in postsecondary education/training and navigate the journey from school to employment with greater intention and success.

Students may earn the MVA in any of these areas or develop their own experience using our Build Your Own path. Each of these categories has criteria students must meet in order to qualify as a Market Value Asset experience.

There are opportunities to engage in Market Value Asset experiences at all 9th - 12th grade levels. Students are encouraged to begin exploring options early in high school.
