RWL at LPS

Real World Learning helps students find direction, build lasting skills, and prepare for the future. Students connect learning to life by exploring our community as a living classroom and engaging in meaningful collaboration with real people, places, and ideas. Real World Learning unfolds from PreK through graduation as a continuous journey of Exploring, Experiencing, and Immersing, ensuring students gradually build curiosity, skills, and real-world readiness.
Explore
Learners investigate a wide range of interests, real-world problems, and careers. Through exploration, learners build awareness, spark curiosity, and begin identifying what they might want to pursue.
Experience
Learners take part in structured, hands-on activities, including short-term projects, simulations, and skill-building workshops that allow them to more deeply explore different fields and understand the skills required for success.
Immerse
Students deeply engage in extended, authentic work, such as entrepreneurial ventures, client-connected projects, industry-recognized credential pathways, and internships. Immersive opportunities help students apply learning, build confidence, and make informed decisions about their future.
This Real World Learning journey directly supports the development of the LPS Graduate Profile. As students discover interests, expand perspectives, and apply learning in authentic contexts, they develop the mindsets, knowledge and skills to thrive in Academic, Cultural, Entrepreneurial, Personal, and Professional domains.
